A four-piece introduction to the skinbetter treatments we reach for most as skin shows fine lines, uneven tone, and softening firmness.

Two of the creams use skinbetter's AlphaRet technology, which pairs a retinoid (a vitamin A derivative that speeds skin cell renewal) with a gentle acid to refine skin with less irritation than older retinols. AlphaRet Overnight Cream treats the whole face; EyeMax treats the thinner skin around the eyes. The Alto serum adds antioxidant protection against daily environmental stress, and a complimentary Interfuse LINES treatment softens set-in lines.

Use the Alto serum each morning and the two creams at night. Introduce the retinoids two to three nights a week, building as your skin adjusts, and wear a broad-spectrum SPF daily, since retinoids increase sun sensitivity.

  1. In the morning, apply the Alto serum to clean skin, then follow with moisturizer and a broad-spectrum SPF.
  2. At night, smooth a thin layer of AlphaRet Overnight Cream over the face and a small amount of EyeMax around the eyes, avoiding the lash line and eyelids.
  3. Start the overnight creams two to three nights a week, building to nightly as your skin adjusts.
  4. Apply the Interfuse LINES treatment to set-in lines, such as the forehead or between the brows, before your night cream.
  5. Some dryness or flaking is normal in the first few weeks. Ease off for a night or two if your skin feels irritated.
  6. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF every morning, since retinoids make skin more sun-sensitive.
